Dr. Stephen Lemon answers members questions

My friend was diagnosed w/ prostate cancer in oct at age 35. His psa was 2. Some have told me that its more serious the younger you are. Is that true?

Also, he has been receiving radiation and recently has pain in the area. He never experienced it before. The dr upped his meds and did a biopsy. There is talk that they might have to remove the prostate. He is worried he will not be able to have sex anymore. I am asking you for info as he does not want to talk to me anymore and I am worried for him. Is there a chance he will die from this because he is so young? Thank you, Lauren read more
